Food Parcels

We have a regular distribution of between 20 & 30 parcels per week during winter months on Friday’s between 11 & 12.

Each parcel contains a tin of soup, meat or fish, tinned vegetables, baked beans, tinnied fruit and tea bags. For those without access to public funds, or those who often live confused and chaotic lives, a weekly food parcel offers some measure of support. The food parcel program differs from the more well known food banks as people are not required to provide a voucher. This kind of unconditional giving is becoming more and more rare in our current society, but is felt to be an important historical part of the missions activity that keeps us in contact with a wide population of people
